Map: Siskiyou National Forest OR BLM Coos Bay

Covers BLM and Forest Service public lands and recreation facilities and access along the Oregon coast, from the Siuslaw National Forest east and south of Florence to the Siskiyou National Forest east of Brookings. This map covers hiking/backpacking and horseback riding trails in the Kalmiopsis Wilderness and Wild Rogue Wilderness. Map shows camping and recreation areas, corrals, water features, points of interest, and other Forest Service and BLM facilities. Forest roads and trails are clearly marked. All of the beaches, state parks, overlooks, and other sites along the coastline are marked, including Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Travel Hwy 101 to access the sites; enjoy scenic driving, scenic viewing, beach walking, fishing, camping, and hiking. Scale is 1/2" = 1 mile. Map is useful for OR Hunting Units 20, 24, 25, and 27. 1997.

Rogue River Float Guide

The Rogue River's Wild and Scenic section starts west of Grants Pass and continues south of Agness below Copper Canyon. This float guide booklet for the popular wild and scenic stretch of the Rogue River through the Siskiyou National Forest includes boating, fishing, camping, and whitewater information and marked recreation sites. Covers mile by mile natural history, landmarks, rapids, history, and safety information. 55 pages on synthetic paper. Map scale is 1" = 1 mile. 2004

BLM Maps

Map: Gold Beach OR - Surface Management
Agency: BLM
Map shows the coastline from Otter Point south to McVay Rock State Recreation Site. Scenic driving on Hwy 101 with opportunities for beach walking, fishing, boating, camping, and wildlife viewing. From Brookings travel along the Chetco River into Siskiyou National Forest up to Kalmiopsis Wilderness boundary. At Gold Beach travel along the Rogue River on a scenic byway to campgrounds, fishing accesses, and other forest roads leading into the Siskiyou NF. Map: Grants Pass OR - Surface Management

Map shows Grants Pass surrounded by sections of BLM land; explore the roads including in the Siskiyou Mountains, camp at Lake Selmac, or drive south along the Applegate River with camping and picnicking sites. Explore the Rogue River National Forest southeast of Grants Pass; travel to Applegate Reservoir for camping, fishing, and boating. Travel west to explore Siskiyou National Forest and the Illinois River area, watch for the campgrounds along the way. A great reference to have when traveling in Oregon or planning day trips from any city in Oregon. Atlas includes recreation guide pages with suggestions for cultural/historic places to visit, campgrounds in national forests, on BLM land, or in state parks, and lakes for boating and fishing. The maps are fully compatible with GPS technology, and all roads shown are negotiable in a passenger vehicle. The large scale is 1:250,000 or 1"= 4 miles. 2014

This atlas is a great reference to have for Oregon residents or for visitors traveling in the state. Whether you are on the coast, camping in a national forest, or scenic driving by Hells Canyon, there is information for you. Atlas gives suggestions and information for family outings, unique natural features, numerous fishing sites, outdoor adventures, and lists of recreation areas. GPS-compatible topographic maps for the entire state offer detail on backroads, recreation areas, and many hiking trails. Western Oregon is covered with higher details, including the Cascades and the Coast Range. Scale varies from 1:150,000 (1=2.4 miles) to 1:300,000 (1=4.8 miles). 2013
