East of Red Bluff map shows a section of BLM land along the Sacramento River with trailheads, boat ramps, and fishing sites marked, and the Sacramento River National Wildlife Refuge south of Red Bluff. Travel west of Red Bluff to explore a section of Shasta Trinity National Forest, or hike, horse ride, and backpack in Yolla Bolly Middle Eel Wilderness. Official Bureau of Land Management metric topographic map @1:100,000 scale (roughly 3/4"=1 mile), color-coded to show surface management, i.e. agency vs. private or tribal ownership. Map shows roads, water features, recreation sites, points of interest, and the township and range lines. Maps show trails and developed recreation areas such as campgrounds. Use for Deer Hunting in Units B2, B5, C3 and C4 and for Elk Hunting in Northeastern and Marble Mountains Zones. 2015

From Covelo travel east to explore the forest including Eel River area, north to Yolla Bolly- Middle Eel Wilderness boundary with camping and hiking trailhead access into the wilderness. Explore the M 1 forest road which heads south to Lake Pillsbury and beyond to Upper Lake/Clear Lake. Opportunities for camping, boating, fishing, and hiking at the lake. From Upper Lake travel north to the Upper Lake OHV Area with three trails open for ATV's, motorcycles, and jeeps/4WD's; camping permitted. West of Stonyford is a popular area for OHV enthusiasts. Many miles of OHV trails for ATV's, motorcycles, jeeps/4WD's lead to many campgrounds and trailheads in the area. National Forest maps include topographic information(no contour lines), hiking trails, service roads, water features, campgrounds, other recreation sites and information, regulations, and contact information if you need permits or additional information before you head for the great outdoors. The California Road & Recreation Atlas now has 14 pages of all-new Landscape "Metro Maps" of the four largest urban areas of the state: Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and Sacramento. The enlarged scale (1" = 2.5 miles or 1:157,000) shows even more recreation detail than before. New features of the twenty-eight page Recreation Guide now include climate graphs, eight-classes of public lands ownership, shaded relief and point-to-point mileages. All the maps feature beautifully detailed, digitally rendered landscape relief. The maps are fully compatible with GPS technology. The scale for most of the state is 1:300,000 or 1"= 5 miles.
