BLM Ranger Station (On NM-117 9 miles south of 1-40 exit 89)

Join the Public Lands Interpretive Association and the Bureau of Land Management as they unveil brand-new pieces in the El Malpais Community Art Program! This area of tremendous natural beauty and cultural significance has inspired the artists in this program to create works of sculpture, fiber art, paintings, murals, and more. These pieces are currently all on display at the BLM Ranger Station for the area. Join us to celebrate the artists, then explore La Ventana Arch, or a number of trails and scenic areas nearby.
